The GYS PROTIG 200 AC/DC is a highly versatile, dual-process welding unit designed for both AC/DC TIG and MMA welding. Its compact, portable format ensures easy transportation and use in various environments. This unit is capable of assembling all types of materials up to 4 mm thick, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, magnesium, and titanium. With advanced secondary control, it ensures optimum arc stability and constant current in all welding positions.

5 TIG Welding Modes:

  1. DC Standard:
    • Ideal for DC welding on most ferrous materials.
  2. DC Pulsed:
    • Limits temperature rise of workpieces, making it perfect for very thin sheet metal.
  3. AC Standard:
    • Suitable for welding aluminum and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn…).
  4. AC Pulsed:
    • Controls temperature rise in parts being welded, ideal for very thin sheet metal.
  5. AC Easy:
    • Predefined parameters simplify usage. The user only needs to select the diameter of the tungsten electrode on the interface.

MMA Welding:

  • SPOT Mode (TIG DC or AC):
