Important Notice

Warranty Coverage Varies by Brand, Product and Model

Warranty periods and claim procedures vary depending on the brand, product type and model. In many cases, online product registration within a set timeframe is required to activate extended warranty periods.

The information below is provided for general guidance only. Customers should always refer to the official manufacturer warranty documentation for their specific product.

Welding Consumables

Consumables Are Designed to Wear Out

Welding consumables, including electrodes, welding wire, contact tips, nozzles, liners and similar items, generally do not carry a long-term or explicit manufacturer warranty.

These products are designed to wear out, and their lifespan is affected by usage, application, storage and environmental conditions.

Normal Wear Normal wear and tear is not covered by manufacturer warranties.
Machine Warranty Exclusions Consumables are excluded from machine and extended power source warranties.
Statutory Consumer Rights

Faulty Goods at Purchase

  • All goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described at the time of sale.
  • If consumables are faulty at purchase, customers are entitled to remedies.
  • In the UK, claims for faulty goods may be brought for up to 6 years, or 5 years in Scotland.
  • Claims must relate to an inherent fault, not normal wear, misuse or storage conditions.
Important Warranty Conditions

Before Making a Warranty Claim

  • Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer, not Sultani Gas.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • Registration deadlines must be met where applicable.
  • Misuse, lack of maintenance, accidental damage or unauthorised repairs may invalidate warranty coverage.
