**Metalynx 4.5″ Clean & Strip Disc (115mm)**

The Metalynx Clean & Strip Disc is a high-performance non-woven alternative to traditional wire brushes, offering a safer and more efficient solution for surface preparation. It is ideal for tasks such as cleaning welds, removing rust, stripping paint, and eliminating heat discolouration.

Designed for use on a wide range of metals, including stainless steel, the disc features an open-web construction that delivers aggressive cutting action while maintaining a smooth, controlled operation. This structure helps prevent clogging, especially when working with softer coatings.

Made with extra coarse silicon carbide abrasive, it is well-suited to light-pressure applications like paint preparation. Compared to aluminium oxide, it breaks down faster to produce a finer, more consistent finish. The smear-resistant non-woven material ensures even wear throughout the disc’s lifespan, maintaining strong cutting performance over time.
